“In general from living at an NFH Home, he’s just become much more independent and much more self-confident, and particularly since starting working… He takes pride in his work, which really shows, and he just seems much happier.”
“My son is like night and day different for the better. Whatever y’all are doing, it works. He loves doing the work at camp. He likes being appreciated. He likes to serve. I can sum up the overall experience by saying that he’s grown up a lot. We are have hope for him that we never had before.”
“Working one-on-one with somebody, which is what he normally does, works well. He is able to do things that he’s never done before, that I was surprised that he was doing, like working with power tools, making furniture for the camp.”
“I am so incredibly grateful for NFH. My son is the man he is today with the help of NFH. He has taken on more responsibility for himself and others and gave him the confidence he needed to know he can do anything. Thank you deeply from the bottom of my heart.”
“I like the people at NFH, I like the providers, I like visiting Gateway to the Arctic Camp in Talkeetna and I like rock climbing."
“The house does more than just be there. I’ve been to three group homes before this one and I like this one. We get out of the house and do stuff together.”
In order to further our mission of providing excellent care for our clients, and to more accurately reflect our values of charity, generosity, and community empowerment, Nadon Family Home, LLC has decided to transition to a non-profit organization, known as Neurodiverse Family Haven. We're still NFH, and we will continue to help people of all abilities reach their highest potential.
